Session Organiser Information

Session Organisers are responsible for arranging chairs for each oral session. The Chair should ensure that all presentations are pre-loaded onto the meeting room computers. An IT technician is available at all times and may be contacted via the student helpers (there should be at least one helper in each room).

As there is an extensive programme of parallel sessions and delegates will wish to move between parallels, it is vital to keep strictly to time. Also, rooms may be needed for Special lunches etc, and people need time for refreshments/lunch. Note that allocations for talks on programmes includes questions and change-over time. Chairing should be rigorous.

Session programmes are available online and in the Delegate Booklet. Any unavoidable last minute changes should be notified by the session organisers.
