Galaxies & Clusters

Millennium simulation
Understanding how galaxies form and evolution is one of the key questions of astrophysics. At JBCA, we study the structure formation from both observational and theoretical point of view. Our expertise cover a wide variety of topics, such as cosmological numerical simulations, observations of starburst and active galaxies, strong gravitational lensing (by galaxies and clusters), and the Sunyaev-Zeldovich effect by clusters of galaxies.
