Working Group 7 Meeting

12-14th July 2010

The aim of the meeting is to present and discuss analysis and results related to WG7 science projects, primarily based on early, internal, data releases within the Planck Consortium. This is the first full WG7 meeting with real data in hand. The agenda can be found here. The agenda with talks will be available on the WG7 wiki.

If you have specific queries about this meeting, contact Clive Dickinson.

Registration

Registration is now closed. Morning and afternoon refreshments will be made available as part of the registration fee and a buffet lunch will also be provided.

Location

The meeting will be held in the Lovell seminar room, on the 3rd floor of the Alan Turing Building, within the Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics, approximately 1 mile south of the city centre (see the campus map for directions). The Alan Turing Building hosts the Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics (JBCA) on the 3rd floor as well as the Photon Science Institute (PSI) and School of Mathematics.

Accommodation

There are numerous hotels in the area - a list of hotels can be found here. Our recommendation would be the Ibis hotel on Charles Street, which is 10 minutes walk from Alan Turing Building and 5 minutes walk from the city centre and Piccadilly train station. From the airport, you can reach the city centre either via a train (about 25 minutes, and costs a few pounds) or via taxi (about 20 minutes and costs about 25 pounds).
