Clover aims to measure the polarization of the Cosmic Microwave Background using focal plane arrays at 97, 150 and 220 GHz, searching for B-mode polarization caused by gravitational waves in the early universe. It is a joint project between Cardiff University, Oxford University, the Cavendish Astrophysics Group and the University of Manchester. The telescope will be located close to the CBI telescope in the Atacama Desert in Chile.
