21/03/2025 - GGOS-Africa project funded by UKRI.
The £10.7m Africa-UK Physics Partnership (AUPP), led by UKRI and IOP, is funding 13 projects to advance research, innovation, and economic development in sub-Saharan Africa. It fosters UK-African collaborations such as climate resilience, sustainable energy, and healthcare. Partnering with Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, and Uganda, it strengthens research capacity. The initiative aims to drive long-term scientific progress between Africa and the UK. The GGOS-Africa project was one of these projects and now has been funded until February 2027.
