Motivation
  • Demonstrating a photonic beamformer with low cost, off the shelf components
  • Enhance the scan angle of existing testbed, while keeping the beam in the same direction for all frequencies (no beam squint)
 
Requirements
  • 2 bit, 4 channel, true time delay beamformer
  • 2 - 4 GHz bandwidth
