FARADAY was funded by the European Commission as an RTD programme under contract HPRI-CT-2001-50031. The project was completed on December 31 2006. For access to all reports submitted to EC contact Project Coordinator: Professor Peter Wilkinson, University Manchester (peter.wilkinson @ manchester.ac.uk)

The prime objective is to undertake the research and development required to produce two dimensional receiver arrays to be installed at the foci of large radio telescopes and thereby greatly to improve their observational productivity.
