Markanian's Chain, along with M84,
M86,
NGC4461,
NGC4473,
NGC4477, and others. NGC4438 is a spiral
galaxy. Although the spiral structure can't be seen very clearly,
prominent dust lanes can be made out. NGC4438 may be interacting with
NGC4435, the galaxy below it.
