Lyman-series spectral distortion versus frequency as a function of time. The computation includes all Lyman-resonances up to n=6. Also, resonance scattering and electron scattering were taken into account, as well as all ns-1s and nd-1s two-photon decays and Raman-scatterings with n<6. The exact shape of the Lyman-series distortion is important for the computations of the cosmological recombination process.
