I can usually be found in one of two locations, either the Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics, located in the Alan Turing Building on the main University of Manchester campus or at Jodrell Bank Observatory, near Macclesfield in Cheshire.

My role is Head of Computing, planning and making sure all the various systems are in place and working as required for the research and teaching activities undertaken at both locations.

I was a full time astronomer and details of my papers can be found by clicking publications. I founded the Active Galaxies Newsletter in 1997 and it is now edited by Dr Megan Argo

Finally, I am a keen photographer and a selection of my shots and a link to my Ephotozine portfolio, including the above panorama taken from Mow Cop, can be found by clicking Photography
