I am a Senior Lecturer and Head of Outreach in the Jodrell Bank Centre for Astrophysics at the University of Manchester.
My research concentrates on the study of exploding stars using telescopes around the world and in space, working across the spectrum from radio waves to X-rays.
I also carry out a wide range of public engagement activities including work with schools, print and broadcast media and events at the Jodrell Bank Visitor Centre.
