Focusing the Telescope

 

1. Assuming you are still tracking a bright source from Section 3.
2. Ask the controller to drive the focus through the full range a couple of times, reading out the position numbers to you.
3. Make a note where the best focus is and ask the controller to set it there. Also make a note in the log book of the position.
