M3

Description: M3 is one of the brightest globular clusters in the sky. These images were taken during poor seeing (~3-4"), so it should be fairly easy for us to get better ones.

Image information: Stacked, dark-subtracted, registered combination of 6 x 10s images in I-, R- and V-band, plus 10 x 10s unfiltered images, image gamma is 1.5. Image taken 27/04/2006 21:59-22:08 BST.
