This page is for distributing reprocessed Spitzer Space Telescope 24-160 micron data for the Very Nearby Galaxies Survey, one of the Herschel-SPIRE Local Galaxies Guaranteed Time programs. The images below consist of image maps (in jpg and fits format) and error maps (in fits format only). The img.fits maps will be sufficient for most casual and scientific purposes, but the error maps may be needed by people who need to perform detailed photometry.

Comments on individual galaxy images

NGC 4038 - The 70 micron images is significantly affected by streaking related to latent image effects.

NGC 5236 - The nucleus is saturated in the 24 and 160 micron images.
