Resurfacing the Lovell Telescope
Over the years the Lovell Telescope has experienced a number of upgrades, the most recent being completed in 2003, which mean it is now far more capable then when originally built. Here, the dawn sun illuminates the part-completed, but unpainted surface in January 2002.
